Mid Century Meredew Six Drawer Chest

D. Meredew Ltd were a medium sized British furniture manufacturer in the 1960s and 70s .
They were based in Letchworth in Hertfordshire .
This is an example of a teak six drawer chest which has been given a more contemporary finish, whilst still maintaining its mid century aesthetic.
The main body has been painted in Grey whilst the six drawers have been painted black. Each drawer has a striking new solid brass pull handle. The whole piece floats on very stylish legs and frame giving the whole unit that unmistakable retro/mid century look.
This unit would look great in a Bedroom, Hallway, Lounge and Dining room
